ORDER

Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate, takes notice for the respondents 1 to 3.

2. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for final disposal at the admission stage itself.

3. The petitioner has filed the above writ petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 1st respondent to dispose of the appeal dated 25.1.2017 submitted on 30.1.2017 in accordance with law, within a time frame.

4. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though on 30.01.2017, the petitioner has preferred the appeal dated 25.01.2017 to the 1st respondent, so far, no order has been passed.

5. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathy, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 1st respondent may be directed to dispose of the appeal within a time frame, after giving notice to the 4th respondent.

6. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner in the writ petition, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 1st respondent to dispose of the petitioner's appeal dated 25.01.2017, presented on 30.01.2017, after hearing the 4th respondent, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

With the above observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
