ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the respondent/Inspector of Police, CCB-II, Chennai to file a Final Report in Crime No.93 of 2018 dated 05.06.2018 with in the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that though the respondent has registered a case in the Crime No.93 of 2018 on 05.06.2018 no final report is filed till date.

3. Mr.N.Muthuvel, learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent, on instructions submitted that the case has been transferred to the file of CCB, Tambaram due to bifurcation of the Police District.

4. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent.

5. In view of the above, the present Investigation Officer is directed to expedite the investigation and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be, within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order under due intimation to the de-facto complainant.

6. With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
