The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the offences punishable under Sections 363 and 366 of Indian Penal Code and Sections 3 and 4 of Protection of Child from Sexual Offences Act, 2012 and Sections 9 and 11 of Prohibition of Child Marriage Act, 2008 in Crime No. 28 of 2024, seek anticipatory bail.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner stated that it is the first accused, who had married the victim child and that the petitioners are innocent. The first accused had been arrested and is still in custody.

3. The statement of the victim child under Section 164(5) Cr.P.C., had been perused by the Court and she had clearly stated about the involvement of these petitioners also.

4. Taking all the factors into consideration and also the fact that the investigation will have to be done further, I am not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioners. Accordingly, this Petition stands dismissed.
