..Respondents Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, calling for the entire records relating to the impugned order passed by the second respondent in his proceedings Na.Ka.6910/2006/Ku.Vi.Ka, dated 12.10.2006 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents to reinstate the petitioner into service with all attendant benefits and monetary benefits.

ORDER

The order of suspension passed by the second respondent in proceedings dated 12.10.2006 is under challenge in this writ petition.

2. The writ petitioner was an employee of the third respondent-Co-operative Society and he was placed under suspension by the Common Cadre Authority in proceedings dated 12.10.2006.

3. On perusal of the order of suspension, it is made clear that the writ petitioner was placed under suspension for a period of six months with effect from 12.10.2006. Thus, the period of suspension got lapsed on 11.4.2007.

4. Thus, the impugned order of suspension expired on 11.4.2007 itself. Accordingly, the order of suspension is not in force as on today and no further adjudication on merits on the grounds raised is required to be undertaken in this writ petition. It is left open to the writ petitioner to adjudicate the other grounds raised in this writ petition before the appropriate Forum in the manner known to law.

5. With this observation, the writ petition stands dismissed. However, thee shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also dismissed.
