This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.25 of 2024, before the jurisdictional Court. 1/4

When the matter was taken up for hearing today, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent police submitted that there are two accused in this case. The petitioner, A1, is a major, while the 2nd accused is a minor. After completion of the investigation, the final report had been filed against A1 and the case was taken up for trial in S.T.C.No.2 of 2025 on the file of the Judicial Magistrate, Thandarampatti. He further submitted that since the 2nd accused is a juvenile, the final report in respect of minor was filed before the Juvenile Justice Court, Tiruvannamalai on 10.09.2024 3.
