This Writ Petition has been filed to forbear the respondents from effecting service connection in the petitioner's property situated at SF No.268 & 266/1, Vellaloor Village, Kanchikonapalayam, Madukarai, Coimbatore District, to an extent of 2.13 acres to any of the third parties.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and learned Standing counsel appearing for the respondents.

The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner's mother had purchased the subject property through a registered sale deed in Doc.No.865/1979 dated 25.04.1979 on the file of the Singanallur SRO, Coimbatore and after her demise, the petitioner and her sister are jointly in possession and enjoyment of the property. He further submitted that the petitioner has sought for transfer of patta in her and her sister's name, however, there was no response and in the meanwhile, the fourth respondent had entered their property to effect service connection to the third parties on the ground that the land was acquired by the Adi Dravidar and Tribal

Welfare Department. He added that in regard to the same, the petitioner has made a detailed representation to the third respondent on 05.02.2024 but there was inaction on the part of the respondent. Hence, the present Writ Petition.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent concerned to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 05.02.2024 and to pass appropriate orders in accordance with law, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed. There shall be no costs.
