Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to issue order regularizing the period from 28.07.1998 to 03.06.1999 as per Rule and thereby to refix the scale of pay of the petitioner as applicable in terms of T.N.Revised Scales of Pay Rules, 1998, w.e.f.01.01.1996 and consequently to revise and refix the pay and pensionary and other retiral benefits arising thereof as per the Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2009, w.e.f. 01.01.2006, and to pay the arrears accruing on account of such pay revision with 18% interest, within a time frame by this Hon'ble Court.

O R D E R

The petitioner has filed this writ petition seeking direction to the respondents to issue order regularizing the period from 28.07.1998 to 03.06.1999 as per Rule and to refix the scale of pay of the petitioner as applicable in terms of T.N.Revised Scales of Pay Rules, 1998, w.e.f. 01.01.1996 and to revise and refix the pay and pensionary and other retiral benefits arising thereof as per the Revised Scale of Pay Rules, 2009, w.e.f. 01.01.2006, and to pay the arrears accruing on account of such pay revision with 18% interest. 2.When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that during the pendancy of this writ petition the entire benefits due to the petitioner has been granted to her and hence nothing survives for adjudication.

3.In view of the submission made by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs.
