ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondents for their non-compliance of the order dated 02.07.2024, passed by this Court in W.P.No.139 of 2022, thereby directing the respondents to provide alternative employment to the petitioner, for a period of one year, within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of that order, as per the medical report dated 17.04.2024 and as per the information obtained by the petitioner under the Right to Information Act, dated 02.05.2024, and further directing the respondents can direct the petitioner for medical examination and accordingly, alternative employment may be extended for further period. It was made clear that the period of absence may be treated as duty for all purpose except the salary.

Learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that challenging the order dated 02.07.2024 passed in W.P.Nos.139 of 2022 and 33952 of 2023, the respondents filed Writ Appeals in W.A.Nos.435 & 436 of 2025, and the petitioner filed a Writ Appeal No.301 of 2025. The Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court slightly modified the order passed by

the learned Single Judge of this Court, and allowed the petitioner's appeal W.A.No.301 of 2025, however, dismissed the respondent's W.A.Nos.435 & 436 of 2025, on 03.03.2025 respectively. However, to comply with the order passed by the learned Single Judge of this Court, the Hon'ble Division Bench has extended the time for a further period of six weeks. 3.

Further, the learned Senior Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court has been duly complied with by the respondents, within the period as stipulated by the Hon'ble Division Bench of this Court.

Recording the above submission, the Contempt Petition stands closed.
