[Order of the Court was made by M.SATHYANARAYANAN, J.] The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner has already filed a memo for withdrawing his appearance and this Court vide order dated 11.12.2017 has directed the Registry to verify whether any other counsel has entered on behalf of the petitioner, if so, print the name of the counsel, otherwise, print the name of the party. 2.

When the matter is listed today under the caption for dismissal, the name of the petitioner appears in the cause list and his name has also been called thrice and inspite of it, there is no representation on behalf of the petitioner.

Hence, the writ petition stands dismissed for default. No costs. Consequently, the connected miscellaneous petition is also dismissed.
