Degree course completing the same with last date of examination held on 06.03.2020, by considering the Certificate issued by the Controller of Examination, Deemed to be University dated 27.05.2022 in accordance with Para 4(vi) of (Per) FB TANGEDCO proceedings No.10, Secretariat Branch dated 23.03.2020, including the payment of arrears of salary and revised

retirement benefits, in consideration of representation submitted by the Petitioner dated 04.03.2023 and 28.12.2023, with all consequential and other attendant benefits, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court. For Petitioner :

ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondents to pass orders for sanctioning an additional increment to the petitioner for having acquired M.Tech. Degree, the last date of examination being on 06.03.2020, by considering the Certificate issued by the Controller of Examination, Deemed to be University, dated 27.05.2022, in terms of Para 4(vi) of (Per) FB TANGEDCO proceedings No.10, Secretariat Branch dated 23.03.2020. The petitioner also seeks payment of arrears of salary, revised retirement benefits, and all consequential and other attendant benefits, based on the representations submitted by him on 04.03.2023 and 28.12.2023, within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

Without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, this Court directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 04.03.2023 and 28.12.2023, seeking sanction of the additional increment for having acquired M.Tech. Degree with last date of examination held on 06.03.2020, by taking into account the Certificate issued by the Controller of Examination, dated 27.05.2022, in accordance with Para 4(vi) of the aforesaid TANGEDCO proceedings dated 23.03.2020. The respondents shall also consider the petitioner's request for payment of arrears of salary, revised retirement benefits, and all consequential and attendant benefits, and shall pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 4.

With the above direction, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
