2. The petitioner submitted an application dated 02.04.2015 to the 2nd respondent stating among other things that his father C.E.Palaniyandi Mudaliyar, vide registered sale deed dated 06.11.1998 has purchased the punja land admeasuring to an extent of 0.93 cents and enjoyed the same by way of a separate patta and after his demise the petitioner and his brother viz., Paranthaman, are in enjoyment of the same and they applied for transfer of patta and though, the said application was acknowledged on 07.04.2015, he has not been favoured with any response, hence, came forward to file this writ petition.
3. Heard the submissions of Mr.A.Saranraj, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.Dig Vijaya Pandian, learned Additional Government Pleader, who accepts notice for the respondents.

4. This Court, taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the application, directs the 2nd respondent to consider the application dated 02.04.2015, submitted by the petitioner on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision to the petitioner as well as the persons concerned.
