ORDER

This Contempt Petition has been filed by the petitioner for the alleged disobedience of the order of this Court dated 26.06.2020 passed in W.P. No. 8563 of 2020.

2. When this Contempt Petition was taken up, the learned counsel for the petitioners and the learned Government Counsel appearing for the respondents submitted that the order of this Court dated 26.06.2020 has been complied with. The learned Government Counsel has also produced a copy of the proceedings in Na.Ka.No.2733-2018(E) dated 08.10.2021 issued by the Sub Collector, Mettur to that effect.

3. Recording the above submissions, this contempt petition stands closed. However, it is made clear that if there is any discrepancy with respect to rate of interest awarded, liberty is granted to the petitioners to approach the authority concerned, in the manner known to law, if so advised.
