PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, to issue a Writ of Habeas Corpus, directing the 1st respondent to produce the body or person of petitioner's daughter Nandhini, aged about 17 years, who is under the illegal custody of the 2nd respondent before this Court and handover the custody to the petitioner.

1. The detenue, i.e., Ms.Nandhini has been produced. The petitioner is the mother of the detenue.

2. We are informed that the detenue, i.e., Ms.Nandhini eloped with respondent No.2 for the second time. We are also informed by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor that respondent No.2 is presently in custody.

3. In these circumstances, since the detenue has been restored to the petitioner, for the moment, no further orders are called for.

4. The petition is, accordingly, closed.
