Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition is filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, to direct the respondent police to complete the investigation in respect of Crime No.409 of 2022 and to file the charge sheet in accordance with law within the period that may be stipulated by this Court.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent to complete the investigation and file a final report in Crime No.409 of 2022 pending on the file of the respondent police.

The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondent police would submit that this Court, by an order dated 10.05.2023, had already stayed the investigation in Crime No.409 of 2022.

3. In view of the above, the direction sought for in this petition cannot be granted. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition stands dismissed.
