Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying to issue a writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 18.11.2014 filed before him under Sections 4 and 4 (B) of Tamil Nadu Agricultural Land Record of Tenancy Rights Act, 10 of 1969, and to dispose them according to law after due enquiry.

ORDER

The petitioner has come up with this writ petition seeking a direction to the first respondent to consider his representations dated 18.11.2014 in accordance with law. 2.According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner has submitted representations both dated 18.11.2014 to the first respondent under Sections 4 and 4(B) of the Tamil Nadu Agricultural Land Record of Tenancy Rights Act, 10 of 1969, for execution of lease deed and for including the name of the petitioner and others as cultivating tenants, but, the said representations are yet to be disposed of by the first respondent. 3.Notice sent to the second respondent was returned with an endorsement as 'unclaimed'. Mr.J.Ramesh, learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the first respondent, on instructions, submitted that the first respondent be directed to consider the petitioner's representations and pass orders in accordance with law.

4.Considering the facts and circumstances of the case and having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, this Court directs the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representations both dated 18.11.2014 and pass appropriate orders, on merits and in accordance with law, after affording due opportunity of hearing to the petitioner as well as any of the interested parties, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs.
