ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed challenging the answer keys to the question Nos.7 and 24 of the "B" Type question paper issued to the petitioner in the written examination conducted on 27.08.2023.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.

3. The petitioner was employed as Grade II Traffic Constable at Adayar in the Tamil Nadu Police Service. The petitioner had qualified to apply to the post of Sub Inspector of Police as per the Notification No.1/2023, dated

05.05.2023, for direct recruitment. Accordingly, the petitioner applied and had written examination. He had secured 72.50 marks in written examination. After physical test, he secured 79.25 marks. Therefore, he was not in the zone of consideration for selection to the post of Sub Inspector of Police.

4. It is seen that after completion of selection process and after publication of the selection list, now the petitioner challenged the answer keys for the question Nos.7 and 24 of the "B" type question paper. After having conducted the physical endurance test and after having been disqualified in the selection process, the petitioner cannot challenge the answer keys, that too, after publication of the selection list. Therefore, the writ petition lacks merits and is liable to be dismissed.

5.

Accordingly, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed. No costs. 28.02.2024 Internet: Yes Index : Yes/No Speaking/Non Speaking order Lpp
