The petitioner has filed this writ petition to call for the records passed by the third respondent in Ref.No.3515/E2/2013 dated 24.06.2013 and R.C.No:3515/E1/2013 dated 17.07.2013 and consequently direct the respondents to refund the amount of Rs.2,50,000 to the petitioner with interest.
2. When the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the writ petition is filed for directing the respondents to refund a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- to the petitioner with interest Page No.2 of 5
and on earlier occasion i.e., on 31.08.2023.
3. Learned counsel for the petitioner further submitted that pursuant to the order of this Court dated 31.08.2023, the respondents have settled a sum of Rs.2,50,000/- to the petitioner with interest. Hence, nothing survives in this petition for further adjudication.
4. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition is dismissed as infructuous. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. 14.03.2024 (vm) Index :
