O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to produce the Detenue Mrs.Vindhya, D/o Mr.Pounraj, aged about 19 years from illegal custody of the 3rd respondent and produce bodily or in person before this Court and set her liberty.

2. Heard learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for the respondents 1&2 and perused all the materials on record.

3. It is seen that the wife of the petitioner eloped with the third respondent. Thereafter, the petitioner lodged a https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

complaint against his wife viz., R.Vindhya, before the 2nd respondent police on 04.02.2019. Based on the petitioner's complaint, the 2nd respondent police registered a case in C.S.R.No.78 of 2019, was issued by the 2nd respondent police and the investigation is still pending.

Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, the second respondent police is directed to register the case and complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible. The petitioner is also directed to approach the Family Court seeking for appropriate relief.

5. With these observations, and directions the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
