ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed praying for direction to the 2nd and 3rd Respondents to re-assign the persons listed in the reply dated 28.08.2025 and 30.12.2025 to the cadre to which they were originally appointed by considering the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025. 2.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner would submit that the petitioner is the State General Secretary in respect of the respondents Corporation. Vide GO.Ms.No.325 dated 31.10.2018 issued by the Transport(C1) Department, instruction was given to the Transport Corporation that Drivers and Conductors should not be utilised for other duties. However, in the present case, contrary to the said Government order, the respondents, except two persons who have medically disqualification, assigned the other conductors and drivers in various duties without any medical disqualification, which is not sustainable and the same is contrary to the said Government Order. Hence, the petitioner made representation dated 20.12.2025. However, no order has been passed so far.

Though very many grounds have been raised in this writ petition, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submits that, it would suffice, if this Court issues a direction to the second respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law, within a time frame that may be fixed by this Court.

4. In view of the limited request sought for by the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, this Court, without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 20.12.2025, on merits and in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders, within a period of twelve (12) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to the petitioner.
