PRAYER : Criminal Original petition is filed under Section 482 of Criminal Procedure Code, to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Conoor to expedite the trial proceedings in C.C.No.385 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible. For Petitioner :

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed to direct the learned Judicial Magistrate, Conoor to expedite the trial proceedings in C.C.No.385 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible. 2.When the matter is taken up for hearing today, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (Crl.side) would submit that the case now stands posted for appearance of witnesses viz., LW1 to LW3 on 25.04.2022 before the trial Court. He would further submit that there are totally 18 witnesses in this case.

3.In view of the above, direction is issued to the learned Judicial Magistrate, Conoor to complete the trial in C.C.No.385 of 2021 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of one year from next hearing date i.e., 25.04.2022. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4.With the above direction, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
