Common Prayer : Writ Petitions filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the first respondent to cause the competent authority to grant post upgradation with pay to the petitioners on par with the petitioners' junior in the Finance Department, in implementation of G.O.Ms.No.31, Personnel and Administrative Reforms (U.Spl) Department, dated 01.03.2017 and Government U.O.Note No.37433/U.Spl/2013-33, P&AR Department, dated 04.07.2017, taking note of the orders passed in Contempt Petition No.2233 of 2018 dated 08.12.2023 and W.P.No.39956 of 2025 dated 25.10.2025. 2. Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petitions, the first respondent is directed to issue directions to the Competent Authority to consider the case of the petitioners and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
3. With the above direction, these writ petitions are disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
