[Order of the Court was made by M.S.RAMESH, J.] H.C.P.No.250 of 2024 was finally disposed of on 08.02.2024 by directing the prison authorities to subject the prisoner, viz., Pushparaj @ Pukkuti Kanna, son of Balachandar, to the prison hospital with further direction that all the privileges to which the prisoner is entitled to under the Prison Rules shall also be extended. Alleging that the privileges have not been restored, the present petition seeking restoration of the Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed.
2. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor has filed the status report of the Superintendent of Prisons, Central Prison-II Puzhal, Chennai, stating that all the prison facilities to which the prisoner is entitled to have been restored and that he has also been transferred to Room No.11, Block-1 of the prison. This apart, the relatives of the prisoners were also permitted to meet the prisoner. 3.In view of the restoration of medical proceedings, the petitioner's grievance stands redressed and therefore, no further orders are required in the present restoration petition.
