The Assistant Commissioner, H.R.&C.E. is present in Court, and she submitted that the copy of the petition was promptly forwarded by her to the Joint Commissioner, H.R.& C.E. on 16.10.2015. Thereafter, the Joint Commissioner fixed a date for enquiry on 26.10.2015, and it appears that the notice sent by registered post was served on the petitioner, whereas, the petitioner would state that she https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/ has not received any notice, as she is residing at

Thiruvananthapuram. The respondent/Assistant Commissioner submitted that the notice was sent by registered post, and she has got a tracking information to show that the notice was served on the petitioner. However, this Court is not inclined to go into the veracity of the submissions made on either side, as the date of hearing was fixed on 04.11.2015. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that she will advise her client to appear on 04.11.2015, before the Joint Commissioner, H.R. & C.E. Chennai, along with counsel at 11.00 a.m.

In the light of the above, the Contempt Petition stands closed. No costs.
