ORDER

This writ petition has been filed challenging the award dated 31.12.2012 passed by the first respondent in I.D.No.684 of 2001, thereby awarding a sum of Rs.3,00,000/- as compensation, payable to the petitioner, by the second respondent.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that now the second respondent company itself is under liquidation and it is under the charge of some liquidator.

Considering the facts and circumstances, this Court finds no infirmity or illegality in the order passed by the first respondent and the writ petition is devoid of merits and the same is liable to be dismissed. However, the liquidator of the second respondent company is directed to disburse the compensation amount of Rs.3,00,000/- to the petitioner within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt a copy of this Order.

Accordingly, the Writ Petition stands dismissed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
