PRAYER:- Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the Respondents to act upon the representation of the Petitioner dated 22.07.2021 in accordance with law.

O R D E R

The short prayer of the petitioner is for a mandamus directing the respondents i.e. the District Collector, Tahsildar, Zonal Deputy Tahsildar and Revenue Inspector of Erode District to act upon his representation dated 22.07.2021. He has also arrayed a private respondent as R5 but in light of order that is proposed to be passed now, no notice is thought necessary at this juncture to R5.

2.Mr.E.Sundaram, learned Government Advocate who has accepted notice for official respondents would, bearing in mind the fact that the representation of the petitioner is not just for received but has also been forwarded by R2 under Na.Ka.No.4059/2021/A2 dated 06.10.2021 to R3 and R4 calling for their report, have no objection to this Court fixing a time frame for expeditious consideration and disposal of the representation.

3.Hence, mandamus is issued to R3 and R4 to forward the reports as sought for by R2 within a period of four (4) weeks from today and R2 to hear the petitioner as well as R5 and dispose the representation of the petitioner bearing in mind the reports awaited.

4.With this direction, this writ petition stands closed. No costs.
