O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above writ petition, to issue a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner in respect of an extent of 2600 sq.ft comprised in S.No.14 (part), T.S.No.288 (part), Block No.1 and Baimash No.721 (part), situated at Kolathur Village, Chennai 600 099, based on the petitioner's representation, dated 22.02.2016.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given the representation as early as on 22.02.2016, for the issuance of patta, the second respondent has not passed any order so far.

3. Mr.S.N.Parthasarathi, learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents, submitted that the second respondent may be directed to consider the representation of the petitioner, dated 22.02.2016, and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the second respondent to consider the petitioner's representation, dated 22.02.2016 and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

5. With this observation, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
