Respondents Prayer: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for issuance of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus calling for the records of the third respondent vide his Proceedings in Form No.22

dated Nil March 2018 and quash the same by declaring the entire undemocratic Co-operative Societies election 2018 insofar as the 4th respondent society as unconstitutional, as it was done without following mandates of law consequentially direct the 2nd respondent to issue fresh Election Notification for the 4th respondent society in order to ensure free and fair election.

ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.L.P.Shanmuga Sundaram, learned Special Government Pleader appearing for respondents 1, 3 and 4 would submit that in response to the direction given by this Court on 05.04.2018, election has been cancelled by order dated 06.04.2018 in Na.Ka.No.1398/2018/T.nj.1 (7). 2.In view of cancellation of election to the Co-operative Society, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected W.M.P. is closed.
