Mr.K.Balakrishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners submitted individual representations for issuance of patta and since they have not been favoured with any response, they have come forward with these writ petitions. The learned counsel appearing for the petitioners would also draw the attention of this Court to the common order dated 23.02.2015 made in W.P.Nos.4487 to 4496 of 2015 wherein this Court
has granted relief to similar persons. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that as the petitioners herein are also similarly placed, the same benefit may be extended to them.
3. Mr.S.Pattabiraman, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents 1, 2 and 4. Mr.B.Kesavan learned standing counsel accepts notice for the 3rd respondent.
4. This Court taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances and without going into the merits of the representations submitted by the petitioners, directs the fourth respondent to consider and dispose of the individual representations of the petitioners dated 04.09.2014, on merits and in accordance with law, after putting on notice the persons concerned and pass orders as expeditiously as possible and not later than twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioners as well as the persons concerned.
