ORDER

[This case has been heard through video conference] This court, by order dated 08.09.2020 made in W.P.No.12113 of 2020, directed the respondent to consider the Appeal dated 05.03.2020 preferred by the petitioner in accordance with law and pass appropriate orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of the order. Cont.P.No.451 of 2021 order of this court, the petitioner has come forward with the present contempt petition.

2. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Spl. Government Pleader submitted that as the respondent has no jurisdiction to deal with the matter, he has passed an order today (26.04.2021) recommending the case to the higher authority viz., Commissioner of Land Administration, Chennai.

3. Considering the fact that the the respondent has already passed an order pursuant to the order of this court, no further adjudication is required in this matter. The respondent is directed to communicate a copy of the order forthwith. If the petitioner has got any grievance, he can very well challenge the order of the respondent dated 26.04.2021. This contempt petition is closed accordingly. No costs.
