ORDER
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of Writ of Mandamus directing the second and third respondent to conclude and pass final orders in the disciplinary proceedings initiated against the petitioner.
2. The case of the petitioner is that when he was working as a Special Officer in the Pollachi Taluk Cooperative Housing Society and a charge memo came to be issued against him on 28.03.2012. The petitioner has submitted his explanation and an enquiry Officer was appointed and enquiry was also conducted. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
The grievance of the petitioner is that the enquiry officer has not yet submitted his report and as a result of the same, the disciplinary proceedings are pending for the last 8 years. Left with no other alternative, the present Writ Petition has been filed before this Court.
3. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer that has been sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to complete the disciplinary proceedings and pass final orders within a period of six(6) weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second and third respondents along with a copy of this order.
4.This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
