ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed praying to call for the records in S.C.No.27 of 2014 on the file of the Mahila Court, Chengalpattu and quash the same.

2.Heard Mr.S.Gunalan, the learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.C.Emalias, learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the first respondent.

3.It is seen that six witnesses have been examined in the Trial Court and therefore, at this juncture the proceedings cannot be quashed on the ground that the petitioners/accused and the defacto complainant have arrived at amicable settlement. 4.Under such circumstances, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to the petitioners to work out their remedies before the Trial Court, since the victim and the A1 seems to have been married.

5.The Trial Court is directed to complete the trial within a period of two months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are also closed.
