This application has been filed to delete the name of YouTube LLC, as the second defendant in C.S.No.150 of 2021.

Learned counsel for the applicants would submit that the first applicant/first defendant is responsible for the operational control and administration of YouTube LLC who is the second applicant/second defendant along with its products and services. Therefore, the first applicant/first defendant as the service provider of YouTube LLC, will bear all legal risks and liabilities that may have accrued to YouTube LLC including for the period prior to December 10, 2019.

3. As the reason stated in the accompanying affidavit is satisfied and the learned counsel for the plaintiff has not raised any objection of the said reason, this application is allowed.

4. Learned counsel for the plaintiff is directed to carry out the necessary amendment by deleting the name of the second defendant in the plaint and file the amended copy of the plaint.

5. Post the matter on 14.06.2022.
