... Respondents Prayer : Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records relating to the Seniority List as on 01.01.2012 of the 4th respondent herein in Na.Ka.No.1293/2011/A1 (1) dated 17.07.2012 and

quash the same and consequently direct the respondents 1 to 4 herein to re-frame the Seniority List as per the merits of the candidates selected under the same selection to the Audit Wing of HR & CE Administration Department Government of Tamil Nadu in CSSE I 1996-1999 and promote the petitioner in accordance with the said seniority List with all attendant benefits.

ORDER

This matter came up for consideration before this Court on 18.07.2025 and 23.07.2025. On both occasions, the matter was adjourned at the request of the learned counsel for the petitioner. When the matter was listed finally on 06.08.2025, there was no representation for the petitioner. Hence the same was directed to be listed under the caption 'For Dismissal'. Today inspite of the matter is being listed under the caption "for dismissal", there is no representation for the petitioner.

2. In view of the same, this Court left with no other option except to dismiss the writ petition for non prosecution. Accordingly, the same is dismissed for non prosecution. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petition is closed.
