This petition has been filed to grant special leave to file an appeal before this Court against the order of acquittal dated 05.10.2021 in C.C.No.698 of 2016 passed by the learned Metropolitan Magistrate, Fast Track Court-V, Saidapet, Chennai.

The learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that in the impugned judgment, in para no.L, the learned Magistrate has observed as "there was a reasonable doubt on the existence of legal liability of the accused towards the complainant". After saying as above, he dismissed the complaint and acquitted the accused. In otherwise, the signature found in the alleged cheque has not been denied by the accused. 3.
Submission made by the petitioner is considered, the whole case projected by the complainant needs a detailed appraisal as the accused is having the liability to pay the cheque amount or not. 1/2 https://www.mhc.tn.gov.in/judis
