ORDER

This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the Court of the Family Judge, Salem to dispose of CMP.No.56 of 2019 filed in MC.No.25 of 2009 within a time frame stipulated by this Court.

2. It is seen that the Family Court, Salem passed an order in MC.No.2009 in CMP.No.56 of 2019 awarding monthly maintenance of Rs.10,000/- to the petitioner, which was challenged before this Court in Crl.R.P.No.1120 of 2013, wherein this Court modified the monthly maintenance as Rs.50,000/- per month, against which SLP was preferred, which was dismissed, and the order in the above criminal revision petition was confirmed. Therefore, the petitioner filed the above petition to pay the arrears of monthly maintenance, which is still pending. Hence, this petition.

3. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner.

4. Considering the limited request made by the petitioner, this Court directs the Court of the Family Judge, Salem to dispose of CMP.No.56 of 2019 filed in MC.No.25 of 2009 within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of copy of this Order.
