ORDER

This writ petition has been filed to direct the official respondents to issue patta in favour of the petitioner and the legal heirs of the deceased Subburam Lala for the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition based on the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2025 within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

2. The petitioner claims that through a Court auction sale, the petitioner and the legal heirs of the deceased Subburam Lala, became the owners of the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. The petitioner had given a representation to the official respondents on 26.12.2025, seeking for issuance of patta in the name of the petitioner and the legal heirs of the deceased Subburam Lala for the properties morefully described in the prayer to this writ petition. Since the said representation has not been considered till date, this writ petition has been filed.

3. Mr. D.Ravichander, learned Special Government Pleader accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 4. Mr. S. Ravichandran, learned Standing Counsel (HR&CE) accepts notice on behalf of the respondent No.5 and would submit that the properties for which patta is sought for belongs to the fifth respondent Trust. The same is disputed by the learned counsel for the petitioner.

The Special Government Pleader appearing for the official respondents viz., the respondents 1 to 4, would also submit that the said properties have a long chequered history and the contentions of the petitioner that the petitioner and the legal heirs of the deceased Subburam Lala are the owners of the properties cannot be accepted.

5. No prejudice would be caused to the respondents if the petitioner's representation as stated supra is considered on merits and in accordance with law after hearing the objections of the fifth respondent as well as any other third party whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire within a time frame to be fixed by this Court.

6. This Court is not expressing any opinion on the merits of the petitioner's representation.

7. For the foregoing reasons, this Court directs the third respondent to pass final orders on merits and in accordance with law on the petitioner's representation dated 26.12.2025, seeking for issuance of patta in favour of the petitioner and the legal heirs of the deceased Subburam Lala after hearing the objections of the fifth respondent and any other third party, whom the third respondent deems it fit to enquire within a period of four months from the date

of receipt of a copy of this order.
