O R D E R

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus directing the 3rd respondent to complete the enquiry against the 4th respondent on the basis of the petitioner's complaint dated 18.07.2016 by following procedures laid down by the 2nd respondent in Circular No.67 dated 03.11.2011 in accordance with law within the time frame.

2.The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that though the petitioner has given his representation as early as on 18.07.2016, the 3rd respondent has not disposed of the same yet.

3.Mr.S.V.Doraisolaimalai, learned Additional Government Pleader taking notice for the respondents 1 to 3 submitted that the 3rd respondent may be directed to consider the petitioner's representation, conduct an enquiry and pass orders in accordance with law, after giving notice to the 4th respondent.

4.Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, taking into consideration the limited prayer sought for by the petitioner, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the 3rd respondent to complete the enquiry against the 4th respondent, after hearing the petitioner as well as the 4th respondent and pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of the copy of this order. 5.With these observations, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs.
