ORDER

When the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that a case, in Crime No.15 of 2016 for offences under Sections 147, 148, 506(ii) and 302 IPC altered to Section 120 (B), 147, 148, 506(ii), 302, 149, 109, 114 IPC, is under investigation and the police suspects involvement of this petitioner.

2. Under such circumstances, no blanket order of 'not to harass' can be passed. The petitioners shall co-operate for the enquiry and during the course of enquiry, they shall https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

not be harassed. However, if any cognizable offence is made out, this order would not be a shield against the arrest of the accused.

3. It is open to the respondent police to summon the petitioners for enquiry, if they had already been released on bail or anticipatory bail as the case may be. With the above observation, the Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
