ORDER

This Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to grant patta for petitioner's land comprise in S.No.690/13, measuring an extent of 0.11.51. Hectare, Situated in Katteri Village, Sankari Taluk, Salem District, in Petitioner's name as per order of the 4 th respondent in Na.Ka.No.2429/99(K) dated 23.10.2001 and mutate all revenue records from Tharisu into petitioner's name based on Petitioner's representations dated 25.11.2023 and 19.01.2024 within the time frame fixed by this Court.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that it would suffice if a direction is issued to the respondents to consider the representations of the petitioner dated 25.11.2023 and 19.01.2024 within the time as may be fixed by this Court.

3.Mr.A.Selvendran, learned Special Government Pleader takes notice for the respondents.

4. Having regard to the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side and since the Writ Petition is filed seeking to issue a simple Writ of Mandamus, this Court, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, directs the respondents to consider the petitioner's representations dated 25.11.2023 and 19.01.2024 and issue notice to the petitioner, adjacent land owners of the four boundaries of the subject property/interested parties/rival claimants/aggrieved parties/objectors if any, as the case may be and conduct enquiry in the manner known to law and after giving opportunity of hearing to all the parties, pass orders on 3/6

merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
