[Respondents] Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent to enter the community name of the petitioner as Hindu Parayan in the college records and issue the transfer certificate as per the community certificate dated 22.07.2015 issued by Tahsildar Jeyamkondan.

Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Ms.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate, who took notice for the 1st respondent and with their consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal.

2. According to the learned counsel for the petitioner, the petitioner's mother belongs to Hindu Parayan Community categorised under Schedule Caste and his father belongs to Hindu Yadava Community. Further, according to the learned counsel, on the basis of the Government Order, the petitioner submitted a representation so as to enter the community properly in the transfer certificate as well as other educational certificates. The said representation dated 19.08.2015 is still pending. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Hence, according to the learned counsel, the petitioner is before this Court.

Though the writ petition has been filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking a direction to the 2nd respondent to enter the community name of the petitioner as Hindu Parayan in the college records and issue the transfer certificate as per the community certificate dated 22.07.2015 issued by Tahsildar Jeyamkondan, since the representation of the petitioner dated 19.08.2015 is not yet disposed of, this Court is of the view that it would suffice if a direction is given to the 1st respondent to dispose of the said representation within a time frame.

In view of the above, the 1st respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 19.08.2015 on the basis of the certificates produced by him as well as the certificate issued by the Tahsildar and pass appropriate orders within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order, after affording due opportunity to the petitioner to produce documentary evidences for consideration.
