This criminal original petition has been filed to direct the third and fourth respondents not to harass the petitioners and their family members in any manner except by the due process of law pursuant to the 2nd petitioner's representation dated 03.05.2018.

Heard Mr.T.Muruganantham, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mrs.P.Kritika Kamal, learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) for respondents 1 to 3.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned Government Advocate (Crl. Side) submitted that on the complaint given by one Nadhiya against Selvi, the 2nd petitioner herein, petition enquiry was conducted in C.S.R.No.157 of 2018 and the same was closed on 28.04.2018.

This Court has dealt with the question of "not to harass" at length and passed a detailed order in Dorand and Others Vs the Superintendent of Police, Nagercoil, Kanyakumari District and another1.
