Respondent PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to dispose the C.C.No.136 of 2018 pending on the file of the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai as expeditiously as possible within period of stipulated time by appreciating the above said facts and circumstances.

ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition is filed to dispose C.C.No.136 of 2018, pending on the file of the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, as expeditiously as possible within a stipulated time. 2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that FIR in this case was registered in 2017. The case was taken on file in C.C.No.136 of 2018 and pending on the file of the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai. He further submitted that till now, not even a single witness was examined in this case.

3.The learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) submitted that witnesses would be produced during the next hearing.

4.It is seen from the submissions of the learned counsel appearing for the parties that though this case is pending from 2018, not even a single witness was examined. Therefore, this Court directs the IV Additional District and Sessions Judge, City Civil Court, Chennai, to post the case for examination of witnesses on day to day basis and complete the trial within a 2/4

period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 5.With the above directions, this Criminal Original Petition is disposed of.
