The relief sought by the petitioner in this writ petition is to call for the records relating to the first respondent herein in Letter No.39139/AA-2/200122, dated 08.08.2011 and quash the same and consequently direct the respondents herein to retire petitioner from service with effect from 31.05.2011 and confer the pension and other retirement benefits with due regards to the petitioner seniority.

2. Today, when the matter was taken up for hearing, learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that despite his sincere efforts, he is unable to get instructions from the petitioner. Hence, he prayed this Court that this writ petition may be closed.

3. Learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 & 2 submitted that the petitioner has sent a letter dated 13.03.2023 to the department stating that he is willing to withdraw the present writ petition.

4. Considering the submission made by the learned counsel on either side, this writ petition stands closed. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
