ORDER

The petitioner has filed this writ petition to forbear the respondents 1 and 2 or any one claiming under them from in any manner continuing the services of the third respondent herein as Chief Engineer, TNRSP-II in the State of Tamil Nadu beyond 02.09.2015 and direct the respondents 1 and 2 to fill up the said Post from among the available qualified Superintending Engineers in the Highways Department.

2. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, on instructions, submitted that subsequent to the filing of this writ petition, the issue involved herein has considered by a Division Bench of this Court in Writ Appeal Nos.1478 and 1489 of 2015 on 18.01.2016, and hence no further adjudication is required in the writ petition.

3. In view of the above submission made by the learned counsel for the petitioner, this writ petition stands disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
