Respondents Petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India, praying for the issue of a Writ of Certiorarified Mandamus, to call for the records pertaining to the proceedings initiated by the second respondent in the Na.Ka.No.86821/V2/ E2/2013 dated 16.07.2013 and subsequent proceedings initiated by the second respondent in the Na.Ka.No.028972/H/E1/2013 dated 24.03.2015 and to quash the same as ultra vires and consequentially directing the respondents to due promotion and release the pension and other benefits of members of the association who attained superannuation which are withheld by the respondent and directing the respondents herein to pass seniority promotions of the petitioner's Association members, which was withheld by the respondents due to the non payment of amount value to the stolen laptops.

ORDER

This writ petition has been filed by the Tamil Nadu Higher Secondary School Headmasters Association, Thiruvallur District challenging the impugned proceedings issued by the second respondent. However, when this Court posed a question as to how the petitioner Association was having locus standi, the learned counsel for the petitioner sought to withdraw the writ petition. Accordingly, recording his statement, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn. Consequently, W.M.P.Nos.6426 & 6427 of 2017 are also dismissed. No costs.
