Respondents PRAYER: Writ Petition is filed under Article 226 of Constitution of India, pleased to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the first and second respondents to consider representation dated 26.12.2023 made by the petitioner herein to conduct appropriate enquiry upon the bogus registration of vehicles with BS IV emission after 31.03.2020 by the 3rd respondent and pass orders.

O R D E R
The petitioner seeks a direction from the first and second respondents to consider his representation dated 26.12.2023 and also conduct an enquiry upon the bogus registration of vehicles with BS IV emission with the 3rd respondent.
2. It is the grievance of the petitioner that there was a huge scam in RTO office and bogus certificates have been generated with a connivance of the officers. Even some of the officers are part of the racketing and therefore, the petitioner's contention is that though the FIR has been registered in Crime No.97 of 2025, only a dealer has been arrested and none of the Regional Transport Officers has been arrested. Hence, the present petition.
3. At the outset the learned counsel for the respondent submitted that the investigation has now commenced and FIR has also been registered for the offence under section 465,466,468471,420,120B, 34 of I.P.C and 43 of Information Technology Act, 2000 and now one of the accused has been arrested and investigation is in progress. This investigation reveals the alleged racketing in the RTO office with regard to fabrication of documents.
4. In such view of the matter, as expected by the petitioner investigation cannot be completed within a short period. Let the respondent do the investigation thoroughly and collect all the materials and proceed to file a final report against all the erred officials despite their position in the Government.
5. With the above directions, this Writ Petition stands disposed of. No costs.
