ORDER
This writ petition has been filed directing the 2nd respondent to to consider the petitioner's representation with regard to sanction of agricultural loan to him 2.
According to the petitioner, they applied for agricultural loan before the 3rd respondent society. Even though he is the member of the society, so far no order has been passed. Hence, the petitioner made a representation to the 2nd https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
respondent for granting loan. Since the same has not been considered so far, the present writ petition has been filed.
3. The learned Government Advocate, appearing for the respondents submitted that the petitioner stood as guarantor for one of the members, namely, Selvi, who borrowed loan from the society and failed to repay the same. Hence, as per the by-law of the society, the petitioner's request for grant of loan cannot be considered.
He further submitted that the petitioner's representation is pending with the 2nd respondent.
4. Considering the above circumstances, without going into the merits of the case, the 2nd respondent is directed to consider the petitioner's representation, and pass suitable orders, on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. With the above directions, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
