This Contempt Petition has been filed to punish the respondent alleging that he has failed to comply with the order dated 05.10.2015 passed in Crl.O.P.No.24247 of 2015.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

3. Today, Mr.Mr.Joachim Jerry, Inspector of Police (Crimes), Velacherry, Chennai - 600 042. is present.

4. On instructions, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is not co-operating in the enquiry.

5. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the petitioner is however ready and willing to appear before the respondent police.

6. In view of the above, the petitioner is directed to appear before the respondent police for enquiry on 03.12.2016 at 10.30.a.m. and thereafter, the respondent police is directed to complete the enquiry and either close the case or register an FIR.
