PRAYER: Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 Cr.P.C. praying to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of Cr.No.1247 of 2016 pending on the file of the second respondent to the file of the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Tiruppur.

O R D E R

The prayer in the present petition is to direct the first respondent to transfer the investigation of Crime No.1247 of 2016 pending on the file of the second respondent, to the file of the Inspector of Police, CBCID, Tiruppur.

2. The ground on which the present petition has been filed that the respondent police have not acted upon the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner's complaint expeditiously. Since the FIR was registered on 26.12.2016, it would be appropriate that the respondent police may be directed to complete the investigation expeditiously. If the investigation is completed, the petitioner may not have any grievance against the present investigating police officer.

3. In view of the same, there shall be an direction to the second respondent to expedite the investigation in Crime No.1247 of 2016 and file a final report, within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With this observations, the criminal original petition stands disposed of.
