Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India seeking issuance of a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to take action on the petitioner's representations dated 01.11.2024 and 06.01.2025 submitted with regard to survey the petitioner's agriculture land property comprised in Survey No.354/2 and 354/3 for a total extent of Acres 1.89 cents, vide Patta No.330 and 506 situated at Nallur Village, Sathyamangalam Taluk, Erode District, from Mrs.Subbathal and Palanisamy, through a valid registered sale deed dated 12.06.1985 in Document No.1048/1985, by meets and bounds and making proper subdivision. This writ petition has been filed seeking issuance of a writ of mandamus directing the respondents to act upon the application submitted by the petitioners seeking for survey of the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries.

2. Heard Mr.V.Logeswaran, learned counsel for the petitioners and Mr.S.Jayachandran, learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents.

3. The petitioners are claiming right and title over the subject property by virtue of a registered sale deed dated 12.06.1985. The petitioners have also relied upon Patta Nos.330 and 506. The petitioners submitted an application and also paid necessary charges for conducting survey in the subject property and for demarcation of boundaries. Since the same was not acted upon, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court.

4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and considering the materials placed before this Court, there shall be a direction to the respondents 4 and 5 to act upon the application submitted by the petitioner seeking for survey of the subject property. This process shall be completed within a period of four (4) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. If there are any rival claims, the survey shall be conducted in their presence. This writ petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
